TRANSFORMATION OF THE MONTRE HERMÈS STAND, BASELWORLD 2017

Since 2012, Akari-Lisa Ishii have been working for lighting design on Hermes pavilion at Baselworld. The designer is always very glad to participate in their creations, full of poetry.
The alveolated wooden architecture is an original Toyo Ito creation, for this prestigious watch and jewelery fair. Since 2013, it is rebuilt every year but the atrium is always renewed with interesting concepts, according to the theme of the year.
For this edition, the theme was "The Impatient Hour 2017".

It offers a visible and invisible vision, of a mirrored tower becoming a transparent showcase thanks to the magic of light. Also it shows an expression of impatience that we feels by the luminous pulses speeding up until the time of the RDV.
For its launch, the guests was also able to attend a show of juggling performers with a special lighting scenario.
