ST MICHEL AREA, BORDEAUX

I.C.O.N. completed the lighting of the iconic district of Bordeaux, in collaboration with Obras.
One of the challenges of this project was to achieve lighting of the square and adjacent streets, from the pedestrian area to the periphery road, with a high and uniform brightness but also comfortable and safe for users. This site includes the Saint-Michel Basilica, whose bell tower is the highest and therefore most visible of the city, was also to highlight.

To do this, specific masts Gothic-inspired (like the basilica) were co-developed by the team. They light the plaza (in association with other more conventional devices) and support at their top spots dedicated to the basilica.
Quality equipment, made by casting, which gives it a very noble look, which was equipped with LED that meet the wishes of soft light, harmony, low consumption, low maintenance ... expressed by the municipality.
