The Parfums Christian Dior corner in Galeries Lafayette Haussman was renewed with a new design concept. This is our second intervention in this prestigious space. As the brand relooks its corners every couple of years, we change the lighting design concept, and the fixtures. It keeps the three axes (perfume, skincare and make-up) that were defined, with a distinct atmosphere for each of them, in the light guidelines we worked on in 2018. Today it's version 2.0 with new details, in particular the style of spots will be applied to the brand's boutiques and corners around the world.
We illuminate the space globally and visually comfortably but also highlight the products and the architectural design with integrated LED strips in a discreet and precise way. Focucing on products still remains important and careful attention is paid to the Color Rendering Index when selecting the material.
Working for such a brand is always a great challenge, in terms of quality, timing, optimization of the quantity of lighting devices to achieve their qualitative requirements, while being fair in terms of energy consumption. One of the make-up artists who works in the corner confirms the suitability for his needs: he can work comfortably, the light is pleasant and precise, with good color rendering for his products. Such a user feedback is always very valuable.
