Luxury perfumery requested the lighting of I.C.O.N. for this place dedicated to the brand's special collections. This new shop, just opened, was created on “Maison Christian Dior” concept, which reproduces the atmosphere of Mr Dior’s Parisian apartment.
For its interior lighting, the team worked on the right lighting technology selection and fine integrating into the architectural detail.
Subsequently, the concept of this flagship store in the Maison Christian Dior universe could be extended to other boutiques in the range.
In order to keep the "homy" atmosphere, ceiling spots provide a global lighting. The large central skylight completes it by simulating the daylight. Besides, highlighting on products also remains a focus point: small sources were placed under each bottle, for example. As the client wished a high illuminance level for them, a subtle balance had to be found so as not to disturb the mild atmosphere.
In addition, the facade being entirely glazed, it was necessary to think of the confrontation with the external light. A lighting scenario was introduced according to the time and season so to adapt lights to the most appropriate nuance of white and level.
