For the 8th year, Akari-Lisa Ishii and Motoko ishii are invited by Maison&Objet fair to create an exhibition that presents today's lighting design, a subtle blend of technology and artistic expression.
Their ambulatory stand expresses a journey of light and sensitivity through an installation that is both esthetic and educational, featuring not only international manufacturers’ lighting products but also materials, furniture, objects ... allied with light.
This year visitors immersed themselves in the concept “beyond” to discover new visions of lighting and lifestyle. The space was composed like an house, with a sleeping area, a meditation area, a (re) creation area, an office area and the outdoor. It was imagined to improve well-being with the help of light design, around 5 key words: High-giene, High-brid, High-light, High-tech, High-touch and intrigued visitors with Human Centric Lighting, the furniture design (above all disinfecting ones with new UV-C technology), a golden column, modular living spaces with bright ideas ...
The fair also invited the designer to give a conference on “light at work”, topical subject that met its participants’ expectation.
