June 9, 2020, the Beauty corner of Bon Marché department store in Paris opened to public, a lighting challenge, taken up with pleasure by this great client.
Located on the 1st floor of the internationally renowned store, this area was created around cosmetic products with a rounded design. The lighting had to emphasize and unify the scenography, common to several brands.
The research for the feeling of brightness, visibility and quality of light was essential. The devices were therefore carefully chosen and then adjusted to meet these different needs.
On the one hand, of course, for product enhancement, we illuminate to attract the customers’ eyes, but paying great attention not to distort or exaggerate in particular the color.
On the other hand, for flexibility, the spots must be adaptable to regular layout renewals.
And above all because of the architectural configuration (low ceiling, no windows, central space surrounded by other corners ...) which led the designers to light both the displays, but also the walls which define the sensation of light of this retail space.
