The established winter event of Yomiuriland “Jewellumination” is known throughout Japan as a prominent illumination spot. Each year, the scale and content of this event is expanded. When they added the special water fountain show of the pool area, I was entrusted with this production.
Adopting the overall theme of “Paris,” each year I proposed a different version of a light, sound and water spectacle including compositions of original sound. Following on from 2013 when I created an authentic Paris environment using the theme of “Paris Mon Amour,” which was the theme of lovers of Champs-Elysées avenue, I produced “Paris C’est la Fête” in 2014, which provided encounters with various expressions of lights as one wandered famous festive venues of Paris, and this proved to be very popular. The projects in which I took great joy creating also seemed to spread a sense of excitement to the spectators.
