The well-known amusement park had once again entrusted Akari-Lisa Ishii with the creation of a "fountain show". It is important to know that the designer is committed to creating something new every year. For this edition 2018-2019, audience are delighted by the show named "Northern Diamond" which brought them to a journey in the splendor of the Nordic sceneries.
This year, the opening ceremony in October was held with many personalities. The number of visitors since then made a good success, as the famous Jewelluminations of Motoko Ishii have been entirely redesigned this year.
In this fountain show, the spectators attended a sunrise and typical light-scapes in the north (rivers, lakes ...) before meeting reindeers, birds, horses ... in the plains and snow-covered forests. Then the romantic magic of snowflakes and aurora borealis brought to the climax with a modern beat where all the dimension of lights and water jets are used.
I.C.O.N. was responsible for the sound creation not only of the show but also to renew the BGM (back-ground music) of 5 out of 8 zones of the park. For several years, the acoustic atmospheres adapted to each theme have been created by the team.
