Following the Arab Spring, an exhibition themed on body expression by Arab artists was held in the center of Arab cultural dissemination in Paris. Not merely the nude but also idols in themselves are prohibited in Islamic culture. As such, the expression of works that use the body as a motif is a recent phenomenon.
However, that said, a broad range of art expression was compiled, and providing lighting for such a composite exhibition is always difficult. It took me about 10 days of concentration at the museum before I was able to create the optimum lighting environment to bring out the splendor of every work including sculptures, photos and contemporary art. Then when I looked outside after finishing, spring had arrived.
