In Paris, the event hall Braque opened at the end of last year. This two-story venue, located in the fashionable Marais district, has a versatile function to accommodate all types of events: cultural, festive, showroom etc.
Two needs are clearly separated in the design of its lighting: previlegiating adaptability and functionality, while bringing aesthetics.
In order to meet these objectives, I.C.O.N. chose devices mounted on tracks to facilitate to move the position. Some are dimmable so that the light can adapt to all configurations. A high color temperature, neutral white, was used to highlight the contemporary appearance of the white walls besides round luminaires provide homogeneious lighting.
To create the modernity of the space while giving it a particularity, very graphic rectangular luminaires are integrated into the step-up-ceiling. Lower color temperature was applied to emphasize the stone walls that have been preserved in some corners. The basement, meanwhile, has a higher lighting level to compensate for the lower ceiling height.
