I.C.O.N. has just completed a new realization, in collaboration with architects Tomoko Anyoji and Yannick Beltrando. Selected by the Autonomous Port of Paris, the team has worked since 2012 to renovate the Port of Bercy in Paris. After 3 years of work, the construction completed in March 2015.
In this renovation of the river bank, we had to think up not only an efficient lighting for the users, but also to be coherent to the urban context. For this purpose, the implantation spacing between the masts was designed to be identical to that of the neighboring sites, and the installed equipment is aesthetically same to theirs. The ecological aspect is not forgotten, we use the LEDs for energy efficiency and easy maintenance.
