I.C.O.N. has just completed a brand new realization alongside the artist Eric Michel.
For the grand hotel Cures Marines Trouville-Sur-Mer (Normandy), we conducted an artistic lighting that follows the tradition of the historical heritage. We took into account the history and identity of the building, highlighting on the architectural classicism, while offering an appearance that projects it into modernity.
The principle idea was to include the building in its natural environment around three elements (earth, water, air) and its new identity (reception, refinement, wellbeing, radiation...).
Starting from the ground, three white levels are used to emphasize verticality. The brightness and warmth decreases while rising, which lightens the building's silhouette. The columns and remarkable facade elements are underlined by light beams.
