In early May, 2015, Akari Lisa Ishii collaborated again with Shiseido, during the realization of the Pavilion of their brand "Clé de Peau - Beauté", in Italy, using the light to promote their branding image. The pavilion, designed by architect Shigeru Ban and his team, with whom we collaborate regularly, was presented at the conservatory of Palazzo Pisani, one of the most elegant historic buildings in Venice. This installation expresses the brand concept, dynamism and delicacy.
Natural and artificial, light filtered through a curved wall made of makeup palettes, remind us of the Venetian lagoon. The deep blue lighting creates an enigmatic atmosphere inside the pavilion and reveals the contrast between the two architectures. The light works as a medium of serenity and beauty, together with live musical performances.
