Christian Dior, who left his mark on the history of mode as a world-renowned fashion designer, was born and spent his childhood in the port town of Granville in western France. His pink-wall birthplace, now a museum, is surrounded by a beautiful flower garden on a hill overlooking the sea. Focusing on the flower motifs that were the source of Dior design, the 2025 exhibition is called “Jardins Enchanteurs" (Enchanted Gardens) and features a selection of floral themes from their old and new collections of mode, perfume and accessories. The lighting design also adds to the glamorous atmosphere, using special techniques such as projecting floral patterns and artificially creating light breezes and sunlight filtering through curtains from the flower gardens.
